#TeamHeadsTogether take on the London Marathon for mental health

What a day!

Today was the 2018 Virgin Money London Marathon and we were so excited to cheer on our runners!  After months of hard training, fantastic fundraising and campaigning to keep the conversation on mental health going, #TeamHeadsTogether took on the London Marathon. Team Heads Together was made up of 200 runners who are helping change the conversation on mental health. We were so inspired by our runners determination today, and all the support of the team as they took on this incredible challenge.

Every runner on #TeamHeadsTogether has a different reason for running for mental health and this will be a massive motivation for the team as they take on the London Marathon.

There are so many ways to raise awareness of mental health and we would love you to get involved in the Heads Together campaign. With your help we can create millions of conversations to change how we talk about mental health and end stigma once and for all.

A year on from the 2017 Mental Health Marathon, we brought Nick Knowles and the cast of the "Mind over Marathon" documentary back together to discuss how being part of the programme and #TeamHeadsTogether helped them with their mental health.

Heads Together was the Virgin Money London Marathon charity of the year in 2017 and we made it the worlds first 'Mental Health Marathon'

If you feel that you want to talk to someone to get support then our Heads Together partners are on hand to offer advice to you.
