2020 will kick off with the 3rd round of The Emirates FA cup. And to support the Heads Up campaign, every game that sees some of the UK’s most loved teams go head to head will kick off a minute later than their traditional time slots.
The move is to encourage fans to Take a Minute for their mental health – 60 seconds can sometimes be all it takes to take the first step in a journey to improved well being and we’ve partnered with Public Health England’s Every Mind Matters to highlight some of the simple steps we can take.
Earlier this year, Every Mind Matters released their ‘Your Mind Plan’ tool, which anyone can use to create a personal mental health action plan with tailored and simple self-care actions.
We will also be working with our charity partners CALM, Mind and Sporting Chance on a series of tips and advice for managing mental health.
Tonight at 19:00, Tony Adams will facilitate the 3rd round draw on BBC2 as an ambassador for our charity partner Sporting Chance.
