In life, as in football, we all go through highs and lows, and we can all take simple steps to look after our mental health. We teamed up with #EveryMindMatters to bring you this new film, reminding us all that our mental health is just as important as our physical health and we can all take simple steps to support our own wellbeing.
Voiced by The Prince of Wales and starring Dele, Harry Maguire, Frank Lampard, Alex Scott and many more, the film was played in stadiums across the UK as every fixture in The Emirates FA Cup third round was delayed by a minute to encourage fans to take a minute to look after their mental health.
Heads Up
Launching at the 2019 Community Shield, the Heads Up campaign is kicking off the biggest ever conversation on mental health through football, aiming to encourage more men to feel comfortable talking about their mental health and feel able to support their friends and families through difficult times.
#OkToSay Series
This film captures a conversation between Their Royal Highnesses that occurred at Kensington Palace as they reflected on the growth of the Heads Together Campaign and the importance of talking about mental health.
The Prince and Princess of Wales and Prince Harry released films as part of the Heads Together mental health campaign. The films feature people from all walks of life talking, often with the person that they first opened up to, about the life changing conversation that helped them cope with their mental health problems – from anxiety, alcoholism and depression through to loneliness, trauma and bereavement.

#ThereForMe Series
The Heads Together #ThereForMe series showcases stories of support. Each story gives insight into the mental health challenges they faced and celebrates particularly helpful support they received.
Our latest video in the #ThereForMe series is Jamie and Helen’s story. When Jamie lost his wife to cancer, his best friend Helen’s support helped him cope with his sudden loss. On 11/12/13 Jamie created ‘Nic’s Legacy’.
