Professor Green: I’m Professor Green, bringing you help and advice from some amazing people during the coronavirus pandemic.
Today, I’m chatting to Claire Cohen from Mind about helping our minds with a daily routine.
Claire Cohen: Having a daily structure can really help the way we’re feeling. Having some routine and certainty in our lives can make us feel like we’re more in control.
So set your alarm and get ready for the day ahead – even if you’re not leaving the house.
Try to keep to set meal times and give yourself enough time to plan, cook, and cleanup afterwards. If you can, exercise once a day – you could find yourself a workout online if you can’t get outside.
And plan time to do something fun as well. Be it a call with loved ones or settling down to watch a film. Lastly, remember to give yourself a bit of flexibility. If you don’t manage to do everything in your daily routine, that’s OK!
Tomorrow will bring another fresh start.
