PRINCE HARRY OPENED THE 2017 VIRGIN MONEY LONDON MARATHON EXPO EXCEL CENTRE, LONDON

Prince Harry has officially opened this year’s Virgin Money London Marathon Expo at the ExCeL Centre. His Royal Highness, who is Patron of the London Marathon Charitable Trust, met with the runners and handed them their race numbers along with special edition Heads Together headbands.

This year every London Marathon runner will receive a blue Heads Together headband, along with a note from The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, wishing them luck and encouraging them, no matter which important cause they are running for, to help Heads Together make this marathon the mental health marathon.

At the Expo Prince Harry also meet Heads Together runners to wish them luck in the Marathon and thank them for helping to change the conversation on mental health and raise funds for the vital mental health support provided by the Heads Together Charity Partners.

The Expo is open to the public until Saturday, and is expected to welcome over 80,000 visitors through its doors, as runners make their final preparations for the marathon, including those racing for Heads Together and their eight charity partners.
